The relief staff provide a valuable support to permanent staff during times of sickness and holiday absences/staff shortages.
To work as part of a team to ensure the smooth daily running of the unit and to help create a safe, supportive caring and empowering environment for service users. To provide a high standard of care, among others. Experience and knowledge of our service user group and the issues surrounding them is essential. SVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent is desirable coupled with experience in a Residential/Housing support setting.
