Housing and Support

A fresh start and place to call home

Our Housing and Support teams provide tenancies in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dumfries, Fife, West Lothian and Aberdeen for families and individuals in need of a fresh start and a place to call home.

Through ongoing friendship and mentorship, we help our tenants to maintain these tenancies. This support is crucial, providing guidance on employment and financial management while also helping people build roots in their local community.

Housing Support Fife

Housing Support Fife offers a support service to vulnerable adults living in their own tenancies in the Levenmouth, Glenrothes and North East areas of Fife.

Our service helps people to develop their own ability to live independently in the community.  Bethany Support Workers offer advice on budgeting, addiction relapse prevention, independent living skills, emotional issues, benefits, household management and developing social skills.  The Housing Support team works in partnership with other appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies in the community.

The programme of support is tailor-made for each individual. People’s needs are assessed and an appropriate support framework is put in place to support them in their day-to-day lives. The level of support provided by the Support Worker is periodically reassessed and progressively decreased as the person receiving support becomes more independent within society.

The service is delivered in partnership with Fife Council. More details can be found here.

We provide assertive, person centred support to people with multiple homeless presentations and complex needs, supporting them to access a new tenancy and then build the skills to maintain it going forward.
