Come join us!
You’ll be part of a team of people all contributing their skills, experience and dedication towards ending homelessness in Scotland.
With around 200 staff there are a huge range of Bethany roles across the country, from supporting people in our emergency accommodation or community groups, to working in our shops or maintenance team.
As well as contributing to the cause, there are lots of benefits to working at Bethany Christian Trust.
Benefits of working at Bethany
We are a registered Scottish Living Wage Employer and offer competitive salary bands with a comprehensive pension provision.
Helping our staff to grow and develop in their roles is a priority, and we offer a wide range of online learning opportunities as well as training and mentoring. We believe that everyone is valued equally and promote equal opportunities and fairness in the workplace.
We are committed to helping our staff lead healthy working lives and have generous annual leave and paid sick leave. Family is important to us, so we accommodate flexible working around childcare where possible and offer generous parental leave.
In line with our existing commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, we are signed up to the government scheme Disability Confident, which works with employers to remove barriers, increase understanding and ensure that people with disabilities have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.

Other Opportunities
Almost 3,000 Bethany volunteers contribute to our mission in lots of different ways. Whether it’s serving hot soup to those on the streets, supporting an individual on their recovery journey or helping in one of our shops, every role is vital. It’s thanks to people like you that we’re able to reach individuals and families in their time of crisis and meet their long term needs.
Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, give back to the community and boost your confidence. Why not give it a go?
